Yesterday, our Community Alerts Team was present at the International Women Association- Johor Bahru Sharing session in KSL Hotel & Resort, Johor Bahru. The session begin at 11 Am with the welcome note from Patricia, VP of IWA followed by a keynote speech by Leila Nordgren, President of IWA.

For those who do not know what is IWA. IWA is a non-profit organization established in May 1999 to support expatriates living in Johor Bahru. The IWA works to promote interaction amongst women of international backgrounds living in Johor Bahru and its surrounding areas. Together, their members enjoy a variety of activities and events designed to make life in Johor Bahru interesting and enjoyable.

We from Global Forway was very much delighted to be invited and as mention previously to share one of our first mobile application – Community Alerts to IWA-JB Members. The sharing session was lead by Joseph Tay, our Operation & R&D Manager. It was a very delightful event with a very responsive crowd. Speaking of the crowd, even the number is 44 pax, it covered over 19 countries and that is huge for us and to our apps.

Since Community Alerts is an apps that we developed together with the Police, we have requested from IPK Johor, to send a police representative. I am proud to say the two (2) policewoman was very friendly and very interactive with IWA members. They are very cooperative and polite in answering question regarding IWA members concern and curiosity of the crime in the state of Johor.

With all said, in conclusion the session was amazing! The crowd was awesome as well the organizer!
